Trail Boss Adventure Patch
Trail Boss Adventure Patch
A new release with a story:
When Justine from @lachic.sandpoint journeyed to Yoho National Park to join her husband Matt on his quest to hike the Great Divide Trail in the memory of their son Ethan @ethanmurrayfund , we naturally reached out to our friends @the.boathousetradingco so we could take her in one of their canoes for a ride. We wanted to share with Justine our beloved Emerald Lake – a place and park so important to us, we named our company after it!
While we paddled those tranquil waters, she shared with us her hiking stories and we pointed to famous trails high above the lake. Speaking both of wonderous trail destinations and misadventures, we discussed what it takes to keep people hydrated, fed, organized and on track when hiking the Rockies and the peaks of the Pacific Northwest. It was when she was when she mentioned the logistics of what it took to keep Matt and his friends organized on a challenging route, such as the 1,123-kilometre-long Great Divide Trail, that she proclaimed the famous words, ‘Basically, I’m the Trail Boss!’ Immediately, a patch idea was born and a promise to create one made.
This special Trail Boss @yoho_co patch features the legendary ‘Boss’ of Banff, Bear 122, and a hummingbird, Ethan’s ‘aka - Birdmans’ symbol exploring the wooded trails of the wild together.
A portion of the sale of each patch will benefit the @ethanmurrayfund
