United States ONLY SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Please note that as of August 29, 2025, shipping to all USA destinations has been changed due to USA government law. Due to the elimination of the ‘de minimis’ exemption, all shipments from Yoho & Co. to the USA may be subject to duties and will have to cleared through customs via a brokerage firm, such as UPS.

We estimate the price to be approximately $25 USD per package, but that is subject to change. We are a USMCA/CUSMA compliant product, being that our pennants are entirely hand-made from scratch in Canada with 100% American textiles. We will provide Certificate of Origin documentation when shipping but we understand that all packages entering the USA from any international countries must be cleared through a brokerage firm (who charges fees for this service), even if the product is not subject to American import tariffs.

If you are located in the United States and wish to ship your package to the US, you can choose between to options:

a.) Pre-paying the brokerage fee via Yoho & Co. (we then pay the brokerage fees on your behalf). Cost is per shipment but price varies for each order. We will submit payment on your behalf.

-OR-

b.) Self-paying the brokerage fees yourself directly via UPS.

NOTE: Yoho & Co. will not reimburse or pay for any brokerage fees unless specifically selected at check-out.

The above 2 shipment options are provided to you upon check-out in our online store.

The US government’s tariff law policy is a constant-evolving situation and we are a small art business. We are doing our very best to stay informed and pass along information as we are able. If you have further questions, drop us a note and we’ll do our best to help out.

If you currently have an order with brokerage fees due, you must pay this fee directly to UPS to have your package released. Product returns for refusal to pay US government fees in certain circumstances may be issued, but shipping fees AND return import fees will be deducted from the refund amount. Please email us to determine your qualification. These are hand-made products created purposefully for each order and we simply can not absorb the costs of unfair fees and tariffs. Incorrectly invoiced tariffs can be directly resolved with UPS.

Thanks so much for your understanding - ❤️❤️❤️ Jessy & the Yoho Team. ❤️❤️❤️

Please note: Shipping for all other orders within Canada and to all other international countries remains unchanged.

HOW TO SELF-BROKER A PACKAGE AND NOT PAY BROKER FEES (IN THE USA):

To self-broker a package in the United States, you must contact the courier, provide the necessary documents like the invoice and proof of identification, and go to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) port where your package is being held. At the port, you will file the entry, pay any applicable duties and taxes, and receive a stamped manifest that you can then provide to the courier to pick up your package.

Steps to Self-Broker a Package:

  1. Notify the Courier: Inform your courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) that you intend to self-clear the package to avoid their brokerage fees.

  2. Obtain Your Documents:

    • Commercial Invoice: This document is crucial for determining the value of the goods and calculating taxes and duties.

    • Proof of Payment: A receipt showing you paid for the item is often required.

    • Proof of Identification: A driver's license or other valid ID is necessary.

  3. Locate the Customs Office: Go to the CBP office at the port where your shipment is being held.

  4. Complete the Entry: You will either use a computer system to file your own entry or work with a CBP agent to complete the required paperwork, to formalize the entry of your goods.

  5. Pay Duties and Taxes: Pay the applicable duties, taxes, and fees at the customs office.

  6. Receive Stamped Manifest: Once payment is made, an agent will stamp your manifest, which serves as a Customs Delivery Authority.

  7. Pick Up Your Package: Return to the courier's facility and provide them with the stamped manifest to receive your package.
